| PREPARATION FOR THE SUNDAY READINGS
Tony and Betty Dady are leading four prayerful Reflection Sessions to look at the Readings for the Four Sundays of Advent. These will be held in the Sacred Heart Church, North Walsham on Tuesday 27th November; 4th, 11th, and 18th December, from 10.00-11.00 am.

| PARISH SERVICE OF RECONCILIATION
This will be held on Saturday 15th December at 3.00 pm at the Sacred Heart Church, North Walsham. Our Service will provide us with an opportunity to join with the community in reflecting upon our need for forgiveness. Having listened to God’s Word we will examine our lives in the light of that Word and then have the opportunity for individual confession. The Service concludes with a hymn of Praise and Thanksgiving. Other priests will be joining us for this Service.

| SUNG EVENING PRAYER FOR THE FIRST SUNDAY OF ADVENT (2nd December)
This has proved very popular over the past two years and so we are repeating it again this year. It is a prayerful use of Psalms and readings (not all biblical) to get us into the atmosphere of Advent – Waiting on the Lord! It is for the whole parish and will take place at St John of the Cross church, White Heart Street, Aylsham at 5.00 pm. Do come along.

| CAROLS AND LESSONS BY CANDLELIGHT
This has been well established at St Helens, Hoveton for many years and again it is one of those times when we encourage parishioners to step out of their own community and join the parishioners from our three churches. This Carol Service is on Wednesday 12th December at 7.30 pm. Invite your family and friends to come along with you.

| PARISH CAROL SERVICE
Sunday 16th December at 3.00 pm in the Sacred Heart Church, North Walsham. This is always a popular celebration as we listen to the Word of God and sing carols. Again, this is for the whole parish so do come along and help to fill the church. Mulled wine and mince pies will be served after the service.

| SOLEMNITY OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION
We keep this on Saturday 8th December. It is a good day to gather with the church to celebrate this Feast of Mary. Mass that day will be at 9.30 am in the Sacred Heart, North Walsham.

| ST JOHN OF THE CROSS FEAST DAY
This is on Friday 14th December and our Community at Aylsham invite you to join them for Mass that evening at 7.30 pm followed by refreshments.
