This has proved very popular over the past few years. It is a prayerful use of Psalms and readings to draw us into the Season of Advent – A time of Waiting on the Lord! It is for the whole parish and will take place at St John of the Cross church, White Hart Street, Aylsham at 4.00pm. Do come along. Don’t forget to offer, or seek a lift.

This will be held on Saturday10th December at 11.00am at the Sacred Heart Church, North Walsham. Our Service will provide us with an opportunity to join with the community in reflecting upon our need for forgiveness. Having listened to God’s Word we will examine our lives in the light of that Word and then have the opportunity for individual confession. The Service concludes with a hymn of Praise and Thanksgiving. Other priests will be joining us for this Service.
There is a similar Service at St Joseph’s, Cromer Road, Sheringham on Saturday 17th December at 3.00pm.

We keep this great feast day on Thursday 8th December. It is a good day to gather with the church as we celebrate Mary’s Immaculate Conception. Mass that day will be at 9.30am at St Helens, Hoveton.

This has been well established at St Helens, Hoveton for many years and again it is one of those times when we encourage parishioners to step out of their own community and join the parishioners from our three churches. We also extend a warm welcome to those living in the local community. This Carol Service is on Thursday 15th December at 7.00pm. Do Invite your family and friends to come along with you.

Sunday 18th December at 3.00pm in the Sacred Heart Church, North Walsham. This is always a popular celebration as we listen to the Word of God and sing carols. Again, this is for the whole parish, so do come along and help to fill the church. Mulled wine and mince pies will be served after the service. There is an open Invitation to your family and friends to come along.
