A WARM WELCOME TO OUR VISITORS: Do join us for coffee after Mass at Aylsham and North Walsham and meet some of our parishioners.
Today we are celebrating the Solemnity of the Epiphany of the Lord (transferred from Friday) . We are grateful to Fr Peter Brown for presiding at our Saturday evening Mass this weekend as Fr David is celebrating the Diocesan Youth Epiphany Mass at Poringland.
CAFOD Pyramid Boxes with our Advent donations should be handed in today.
Our Crib Collection this year is for ‘Crisis at Christmas’. Final day for giving.

THANK YOU to everyone who worked so hard to get our three churches decorated for Christmas. Thanks too for all the planning and organisation that went into our Advent and Carol Services, for the music and singing over the Christmas Festival; also to the many people who contribute to the life of the parish by doing various things behind the scenes ‘week in and week out’. A BIG THANK YOU TO YOU ALL! On a personal note Fr David would like to thank you all for the cards and gifts he has received during this festive season and a big THANK YOU for the most generous Christmas collection taken on Christmas Day - you have been most generous. Also Deacon Ron wishes to thank you for the warmth shown and all the support given in the parish, and for the Christmas cards and gifts received.

OUR SPECIAL THANKS GO TO FR DAVID as always, for his unfailing and dedicated ‘service’ to us his parishioners but particularly because during the last six months of interregnum with the added responsibility and leadership as Diocesan Administrator, he has managed to fully maintain his commitments to the parish and local community objectives with his usual zeal and good humour. THANK YOU, FATHER.

Please note: there will be No Saturday (14th) morning 9.30am Mass at North Walsham but there will be Confessions from 12.00 _12.30pm.

A CALL FOR ACTION! We have an opportunity during this month to call on our Government to help ‘prevent the destruction of Palestinian life and culture in Jerusalem’: we ask that the Government take steps to ensure that the Israeli authorities end - systematic demolition of Palestinian homes, building illegal settlements, the expulsion of Palestinians from Jerusalem, preventing freedom of worship (both Christian and Muslim) in barring visits to Jerusalem plus a number of other injustices. Petition Forms are at the back of the church for people to sign (all personal data will be treated as confidential; If you prefer your data is not stored please let the Palestine Solidarity Campaign know/or sign the petition online at palestinecampaign.org)

BURNS NIGHT - Supper & Dancing is being held at the Sacred Heart Church Hall on Saturday 21st January at 7.00pm: this includes a 3 course meal cooked by Cockerel Catering to include a half bottle of wine per person.
