Last Sunday’s 1st Holy Communion Masses at Aylsham and North Walsham were a joy indeed! The eleven children were a credit to their parents and their catechists and we support them with our prayers and good wishes.
Laudato si We are having five sessions of discussions and reflection on the Pope’s letter on global issues that affect us all. These will be taking place in the Parish Hall, on Sundays at 5.00pm during the months of June and July, starting on 19th June. It is for the whole parish and it is hoped it will be well attended. The Senior Citizens (NW) meet on Monday 6th June in the hall at North Walsham. For some the day will begin at 11.00am with either computer workshop, coffee and a chat or chair exercises. Prayers and lunch at 12:30pm followed by the weekly raffle and a quiz.
On Monday 27th June the Senior Citizens will be going to Walsingham for their pilgrimage. Parishioners and friends are warmly invited to join this annual event. Thank you to everyone who helped with Aylsham Christian Aid Week. We managed to deliver and collect envelopes to houses in all streets we were allocated. Our table top sale at St Michael’s Mon. sale raised £110. Thank you for all your donations. This year money goes to help people whose homes are frequently flooded.
