NORTH WALSHAM 1914-2014  St Nicholas Church is holding an exhibition – “ A Hundred Years of North Walsham 1914-2014” and they have asked us to take part to which we have agreed.  This is an appeal for photographs covering any of those years in the Sacred Heart Parish.  We’d be very careful with them and return them.  Please see Hilary Bolger for more details.

CHRISM MASS  takes place on Wednesday 16th April in the Cathedral of St John the Baptist, Norwich at 7.30pm.  As usual we are running a coach for parishioners; picking up at Aylsham at 5.15pm; North Walsham at 5.35pm and Hoveton at 5.50pm.  Departure from the Cathedral will be at 9.45pm.  The cost of £4 will be collected on the 16th.  Please sign the list at the back of the church.  For those wishing to travel independently, please remember there is No Parking in the Cathedral parking areas except for Blue Badge holders: However, there is an IMPORTANT CHANGE TO PRECEDURE.  Please Note: there is now to be no phoning the Cathedral, but a “first come, first served” policy (for Blue Badge holders only); once the spaces are filled, drivers will have to find alternative parking. Please make sure that holders on the day have their Blue Badges to hand.  Do come along to this beautiful diocesan event, the Chrism Mass.

THE BIBLE GROUP that meets on 2nd and 4th Friday every month at 2.30pm in the parish hall, has now finished its long encounter with Fr Barron and his “Catholicism” and “Evangelisation”.  It now heads out into a sharing of some strange and difficult passages in the Gospels, as well as viewing appropriate DVDs.  Our next two meetings will be 11th and 25th April.  For further information please see Deacon Ron.
