Dear Friends,

Today’s Gospel links the love of the Father for the Son with the love of the Son for the disciples – and therefore for us. Human love is a reflection of the love which has its origin and source in the Holy Trinity. When Jesus calls us friends he is bringing us into the life of the Trinity.

Father James
