Dear Parishioners,
Christ is Risen! Alleluia! Alleluia! Happy Easter!
We are Easter people and Alleluia is our song!
What a great privilege for me to celebrate my first Easter with you. I am so blessed by your presence and your lives. May you be filled with the love, hope, joy and peace of the Risen Lord this Easter and every day. May Alleluia be our song all the days of our New Lives in Christ to the glory of the Father!
I thank you for your presence and prayers as we celebrate this special feast. I especially extend a warm welcome to anyone who is visiting us from other places or faith background.
At the Easter Vigil, we warmly welcome Michael Baker and Terence Fletcher, new Catholics into our parish family. We congratulate Isabella Rushen on receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation on Easter Sunday.
My friends, so often “thank you” hardly seems to suffice for what one has received, especially when those who so freely give are not looking for thanks but would prefer to remain hidden. I would however, on behalf of all parishioners, like to say thank you to the many hands that helped to make this Holy Week prayerful and celebratory. I would like to thank the liturgical ministries, the Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Altar Servers, Stewards, Sacristans, Flower arrangers, Catechist, Committee members and Choirs who so faithfully and respectfully shared with us their gifts and talents. It is my sincere hope and prayer, that you may all have a peaceful Easter Season, full of life and joy.
The Collection today, Easter Sunday, (including from the Easter Vigil yesterday, Saturday evening) is our personal gift to Fr Peter. Please keep all general contributions for the parish until the following week.
