“Speak with honesty, thank with sincerity and act with integrity.”
The readings for the 7th Sunday of Easter for Year B tell us that God knows our hearts and wants us to belong to him, not to the world. The second reading tells us to be united with God in love. And in the gospel Jesus prays for his disciples, that they kept safe and be consecrated to the Good News. So, this week let our focus be on commitment, rejecting evil, and lives of service.

This Sunday is World Communications Day and there will be a Second Collection for the Catholic Communications Network.
Faithful Flames returns today and there will also be a bake sale to help raise money for the coach taking the children on the Annual Children’s Pilgrimage to Walsingham, Tuesday 28th May, during the week of half term. The coach will be leaving the Sacred Heart Church (North Walsham) at 9am prompt, so, please arrive at least 15 minutes before that time.

The interment of Michael Haughton’s ashes will take place after the 9.30am Mass at St Helen’s Church on Wednesday 22nd May.
