“When one has a grateful heart, life is so beautiful.”
The 28th Sunday in Ordinary Time Year C reminds us to notice God’s blessings. It calls us to give thanks for what He has done. The readings show healing, mercy, and the gift of faith. They help us see that faith grows stronger when we trust God and give Him praise. Today’s Gospel presents a God who loves us, freely pours out His blessings upon us and desires only our love in return, at least in the form of expressed gratitude for all of them. When we do not even acknowledge His love in this small way, our callous ingratitude cause Him pain.
