A WARM WELCOME TO ANY VISITORS who may be with us this weekend,  staying with family and friends or just here on holiday: we hope you have an enjoyable time in beautiful North Norfolk.  You are welcome to stay for coffee after our weekend Masses and meet some of our parishioners.

We thank Fr Peter Brown for his continued celebration of our Sunday Masses whilst Fr Michael is again supplying in Newmarket.

TODAY IS SEA SUNDAY when the church prays for all those who live and work at sea.  Without them we would not have most of the items we buy in the shops.  Today’s second collection is for the Apostleship of the Sea (AoS), the Church’s official maritime welfare agency.  It supports seafarers both practically and spiritually.  This annual collection is absolutely vital to enable it to continue its work, so please give generously and remember seafarers in your prayers; thank you. For those who wish to ‘gift aid’ there are special AoS envelopes available at the back of the church. For more information please visit www.apostleshipof the sea.org.uk

CHANGES TO OUR MASS TIMES  Please note there may still be the necessity to change a number of our usual Mass times during the summer months – please be sure to check with the bulletin each week.
NB  On Thursday 17th the 9.30am Mass, usually at North Walsham, will be at Aylsham and on Friday (18th) there will be Mass at 9.30am at North Walsham.

SENIOR CITIZENS’ GROUP meets on Monday 14th for their End of Year Lunch at the Lighthouse Inn, Walcott at 12.30pm. There will be no further meetings until Monday 15th September.

PILGRIMAGE – at the Shrine of Our Lady in Walsingham on Saturday 26th July, the feast of St Anne & St Joachim, from 11am to 5pm.  12noon Mass will be celebrated by Fr Dennis McBride. Fun, games and children’s entertainment.  The Walsingham story will be staged with the help of local actors.  Pl bring a picnic lunch.  All are welcome.

ROTAS (North Walsham) for Eucharistic Ministers are now available in the church porch.

FOODBANK NEWS  A letter from the Cromer & District Foodbank, for June 2014, is now on church notice boards;  it thanks us for our ongoing support, gives an update on both food supplies and numbers of people who have been helped plus a list of the most needed food items for the immediate future.

PARISH SUPPORT GROUP  Remember we have a support group that can be reached by phoning 07501 265779, or speak  to Hilary or Marianne initially.

MINUTES  of the Parish Pastoral Council meeting of 1st May are now on the Parish Website and also on each church noticeboard.
