Dear Friends,

Through the testimony of John the Baptist two men set out to follow the Lamb so that they may live close to him. ‘Come and see’, he says. Peter is given a new name, Cephas, the rock, which he will have to earn. Jesus will later promise to build his Church on this rock when Peter names him as the Son of God.

On Thursday we begin the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. Next Sunday there will be a special service in the Methodist Church in North Walsham at 6 pm and we have been invited to take part in it.

Today there is an opportunity to support the Society for the Protection of the Unborn Child.

Also today the Journey in Faith group meets in the parish hall at 5 pm.
