TODAY following the Mass at North Walsham we have our Parish Picnic in the grounds of the Sacred Heart church; 12.15pm until 3.00pm. Bring a picnic lunch, rug etc plus, some food for sharing for the Food from “Around the World” Table.

A DAY OF REFLECTION Fr Michael has kindly agreed to leading us in a Reflection on Tuesday 19th August;from10.30 am until 2.00 pm. Please bring food for sharing at lunchtime. Volunteers please to make coffees/teas.
OUR ANNUAL MASS IN THE GARDEN OF REMEMBRANCE (North Walsham) takes place this Thursday 21st August at 6.00pm. Everyone is welcome but especially those who have their loved one’s ashes buried there. If it is wet, Mass will be held in the church. We will need help that evening with setting up and putting back of the chairs. If you can help please have a word with Antonia or ring the presbytery. RIVERSIDE SERVICE – Songs of Praise (arranged by the local churches) is at Hoveton Staithe next Sunday 24th August (Bank Holiday weekend) at 3.30 pm. Do join us to boost our Christian witness. This is a service to which you can invite family and friends to come along. If it rains the service will move to St Helen’s.

SPONSORED BIKE RIDE & WALK (Norfolk Churches Trust) will be on Saturday 13th September from 9am – 5pm. JIM BYRNEwill again be taking part in the cycle ride. He is looking for sponsors and will be outside the church this weekend. Let’s support this intrepid member of our parish! Sponsorship forms for cyclists, AND WALKERS are available from the three churches. Lists for volunteer “recorders” signing in the cyclists/walkers on the day will be available at Aylsham & North Walsham shortly: please support by signing up for an hour.
