Regretfully, Father Peter’s scheduled return flight on Thursday was cancelled and his having to travel back on Friday precludes our having our usual bulletin letter from him.
A Second Collection – ‘Appeal for the Sacred Heart SVP Conference’ will be taken at all Masses this weekend.
Next Sunday is the Feast of Christ the King, celebrated as Youth Day.
First Communion programme 2024/25 If your child is in Year 3 or above and you wish him/her to be enrolled in the Parish Preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharist please speak to Fr Peter. Application forms for this Programme are available in the narthex of our churches.
Confirmation 2025 – Those interested in attending confirmation classes pl speak with Fr Peter. Candidates to be 14 plus years.
New personal Sunday Missals. As the new Lectionary will be in place from the first Sunday of Advent our own old missals will be out of date. If you would like an up-to-date Sunday Missal, please add your name to the list at the back of the church. The cost is £19.95; however, if we order 6 or more, there will be a 10% discount.
READERS’ TRAINING. The training for all readers on how to use the new Lectionary is scheduled for Wed. 27th November at the Sacred Heart church at 6.30pm. All are kindly requested to attend this very important session given by Fr. Anthony.

On Sunday 1st December, 1st Sunday of Advent, to mark the start of this beautiful season, the St John of the Cross community invite the whole parish to join them at 4pm for a Taize-style Prayer Service of music, words, silence, reflection and prayer.
St Helen’s Carols & Readings for Advent: Sunday 8th December at 3pm. Refreshments to follow.
Traditional Carol Service at the Sacred Heart, North Walsham, on Sunday 22nd December at 3pm. followed by refreshments.
Children’s Party is on Saturday 21st December from 2 – 5pm in the parish hall. Names need to be signed in by Sunday 24th Nov.
PPC Meeting on Tuesday 10th December. Anyone who has a concern they wish to raise should speak to one of their church representatives.
