People sometimes say, ’he looks just like his father’. That is what Jesus is telling us in today’s Gospel. ‘You must be perfect just as your heavenly Father is perfect’. We probably think that perfection is beyond us. But we can still strive to reflect something of God’s holiness.
Today, Sunday at 6pm there is an Ecumenical Service at the Methodist Church, White Hart Street, Aylsham.
The Senior Citizens’ Group (NW) meets on Monday 20th. In the morning there will be the usual activities – Computer Workshop, craft, and/or chair exercises plus coffee and a chat. Lunch is at 12.30pm. St Helen’s 4th Wednesday Club for senior citizens next meets on 22nd February. Coffee is served at 11.30am, a simple hot lunch at 12.00pm followed by a free raffle, social activities and games. With the gardening season fast approaching, a reminder that the Support Cambodia Plant Sale is only 3 months away on May 20th. Your help in growing extra plants/potting up your cuttings would be much appreciated. Bedding plants, perennials, herbs and shrubs are all needed to make this annual event its usual success.
