ST HELEN’S 4TH WEDNESDAY CLUB next meets on 22nd May.  From 11.30am coffee will be served, a hot lunch at 12.30pm followed by social activities, games and a free raffle.  We finish at 4pm with tea and cakes.  All over 60s welcome to come along and join us.

BIBLE STUDY Group meets on Fri 24th at 2.30pm in the parish hall (NW); Episode 6 – A Body Both Suffering & Glorious from the series book/DVD by Fr Barron.

CHILDREN’S PILGRIMAGE to Walsingham is on Tuesday 28th May (during half-term).  Procession from the village starts at 10.45am: Mass at 12noon in the Chapel of Reconciliation followed by a picnic in the meadows.  Hopefully the day ends on the beach at nearby Wells-Next-the-Sea.  Children provide the music for Mass, serve and read.  Any musicians or servers should speak with Fr David.

PARISH FETE  Please read this week’s insert which gives details of how and to whom you can donate the various items for the different stalls.  Do please do your utmost to support the Fete in every way you can: look amongst your possessions to see if there is anything that you can part with, that will make a sale. This is a splendid opportunity to raise considerable sums for our charities and have a great day of family fun at the same time.
Raffle tickets to be drawn at the Fete (Sun 23rd June) are on sale: proceeds, split three ways, Cruise Bereavement, Cromer Foodbank & Support Cambodia.

GIFT AID DONATIONS – Tax Year 2012/2013.  Many thanks again to all our ‘gift aid’ donors, either direct via the bank or by the weekly envelopes.  To enable the parish claim to be acceptable, you should have been paying income or capital gains tax in the tax year 2012/13.  Unless informed to the contrary we will be claiming tax on your behalf.  Please advise Fr David if you have ceased paying tax. Gift aid envelopes for “one off” donations (and for visitors) are available  in the porch.  Many thanks.

ROTAS for Eucharistic Ministers (NW)  – named copies are ready for collection.

YOUTH HELPERS – for the Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes.  The Pilgrimage  (23rd to 30th August) this year is very short of young helpers (17-25yrs). They are vital in assisting the less able pilgrims.  They stay in a separate hotel under the supervision of the Chief Brancardier and they enjoy a lower cost.  If you would like to participate in this very essential and rewarding work at Lourdes, please check with posters on the notice board for all the necessary details.

RETREAT AT AMPLEFORTH ABBEY  Fr Michael Johnstone has been taking groups to Ampleforth for many years for a Retreat conducted by a monk.  This year the dates are 24-28 June: the cost £250.  If interested please ring Fr Michael for more details on 01328 823586 or e-mail fr.mcjohnstone@tesco.net

LOOKING AHEAD:  Diocesan Celebration of Marriage & Family Life: is on Saturday 22nd June at 11am at St John’s Cathedral, Norwich.  Please see poster. Those celebrating special Anniversaries this year are welcome to come and renew their Marriage vows but you need to register that you are attending.

More information at the back of the church or go to www.catholiceastanglia.org/youth   Deadline for booking 14th June. Please pick up a leaflet for details.

We pray for all those whose anniversaries occur at this time, including: Jean Margaret Graydon-Carter, Mary Sparks, Winifred (Win) Laura Armes, Elizabeth (Rosemary) Walmsley, Carmel Angela Larter and Francis Murphy.
May they rest in peace.  Amen.
