The 4th Sunday of Advent Year A brings us very close to Christmas. The readings help us focus on who Jesus is and why He came. We hear the name Emmanuel, which means “God is with us.” This is the message we hold onto as we get ready to celebrate His birth.
As we approach the joyful celebration of Christmas and prepare to begin a new year, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude and love for each and every one of you. I extend heartfelt Christmas blessings to you and your loved ones.
In this season of hope, joy and peace, I am reminded of the immense privilege and blessing it is to serve as your parish priest. I am deeply moved by the unwavering support and faith that each of you brings to our parish community.
Your prayers, your kindness, and your dedication to our shared mission enrich my life in ways words cannot fully express. I feel truly fortunate to walk this journey of faith with all of you, as together we continue to grow in God’s love and grace.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for the gift of your presence, your prayers and your support. Please know that I hiold each of you in my heart and in my prayers. May God bless you abundantly this Christmas and always.
Fr. Peter
