Tuesday Masses:  Please note the following changes to Tuesday Mass times in the next two weeks: Tuesday 28 July, 6pm Mass; Tuesday 04 August, 6pm Mass.  I am hoping that the evening Mass times may stimulate people who are not able to attend Mass in the daytime to be able to come and attend Mass on these days. If in doubt consult Mass Times.   

Congratulations:  On Saturday the 25th of July, Bridget Holmes and William Saddington were married at St Helen’s in Hoveton – the first wedding to take place there in many years.  Bridget and her family are well known to the parish as she has lived here all her life and received the Sacraments of Initiation at St Helen’s. Congratulations and blessings to Bridget and William.  

Adoration, Benediction and Confession:   From Wednesday the 12th of August, every Wednesday evening there will be Adoration, Benediction and Confession celebrated at St John of the Cross, Aylsham at 6pm.  This will be held regularly on Wednesday evenings when I am available to lead the service – please keep an eye on the weekly newsletter.
Funeral notices for two much-loved members of our congregation Adrian Rudman: A Requiem Mass to be held on Monday 3rd August at 2pm.   Chris White: A Requiem Mass for Chris will be held on Thursday 13th August at 11am.          

Food bank donations: Families come under increasing pressure during the summer holidays without the support of Free school Meals and Breakfast clubs. Please be generous in your donations for the food banks in Norwich and North Norfolk. The priorities, at the moment, are: Tinned vegetables and fruit; pasta, tomato-based pasta sauces; Biscuits- wrapped e.g. Penguins, Club etc.; individual cereal including porridge pots; long life fruit juice; jam and peanut butter; toiletry items  including shower gel, shampoo and deodorants. Thank you to all who contribute.  		 Pop-Up Supper: On Saturday 5 September there will be a Pop-up Supper in Thorpe Market to support the work of the SVP.   Here’s what you need to do: Book a place (or a table), choose your menu, come along at 6pm and enjoy your supper with everyone else. At the end of the evening, you’re invited to make a cash donation anonymously (envelope provided) of what you think it was worth/what you can afford. There will also be a Knick-knack Tombola! To make a booking send a text or WhatsApp to Naomi on 07483 875643 and full info will follow.   Book soon as places are limited!
