A WARM WELCOME TO ANY VISITORS who may be with us this weekend, staying with family and friends or just here on holiday: we hope you have an enjoyable time in beautiful North Norfolk. You are welcome to stay for coffee after our weekend Masses and meet some of our parishioners.

MASS TIMES for the coming week will have a number of changes so do please refer to the back page of this newsletter.

Sadly we have to say goodbye to Fr Michael this weekend: in the short time that he has been with us he has made quite an impression, one of joy and optimism, leaving us with thought-provoking homilies and inspiring aides for our spiritual lives. We are all invited to join him in the Parish Hall for “shared lunch” after the 11.00am Sunday Mass. Please bring food for a first or second course. Drinks will be provided.

STALHAM AREA HOUSE MASS  This year we will not be able to celebrate Mass at St Mary’s, Stalham, because of our parish re-arrangements. Instead, we have the opportunity of meeting at St Mary’s for Compline. Do come and share in this lovely, traditional evening prayer which our Churches have in common. On Friday 5th September at 7.30pm.

THE DOWRY OF MARY PILGRIMAGE, WALSINGHAM is on Sunday 7th September and will be led by Bishop Alan Hopes (Bishop of East Anglia). 11.30am Reception of Flags; 12 noon Mass; 3.15pm the Procession to the Priory Grounds for Benediction & Prayers at the Original Shrine Site.

THE CATHOLIC CHURCH  What does it really teach? Come along to the first meeting and find out: on Sunday 21st September at 7.00pm in the Parish Hall, North Walsham. Enquiries – ring Bob Maidment on 01263 577784.
